For the longest time I thought I just needed more practice painting my nails to get that perfectly professional manicured look. Well actually, I just needed to discover the brand Ciate! Seriously, I am so impressed with the formulation of this polish. I often struggle with cream finishes, so I tend to stick to frosty or more metallics because I find them a lot more forgiving. But for the spring, there is nothing prettier than a gorgeous creamy pastel nail. Finally I have found a way to achieve this look without the smudges and air bubbles that I had always struggled with. I cannot say how much I love these polishes, and you will probably be seeing a lot of them in future Nail I'm Loving posts.

Ciate Paint Pot in Sugar Plum |
After about a week of wearing this colour (seriously, this stuff lasted a long time), there was a small amount of wear on the tips, so I layered a bit of Essie Luxeffects in Set in Stones in a bit of a twist on a french manicured look. I thought it turned out quite cute!
What are your secrets to a great manicure?
